Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking Restaurant Customer Advisors to deliver exceptional service in our restaurant spaces and assist with store duties, including stock control and till work.

You will promote the Dobbies Club benefits, assist with allergies and dietary needs, and help maintain a welcoming dining area for customers. In a fast-paced setting, you will collaborate with colleagues, learn product knowledge, and contribute to sales while upholding hygiene standards and the company

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer facing role and a passion for hospitality.
• Team player who builds relationships and works well in a busy environment.
• Punctual, well presented with a can do attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service across the store and handling various transactions.
• Driving sales by promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Handling queries with product knowledge, including allergies and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the store and restaurant area.
• Working on shopfloor and other store areas including stock, till work, and deliveries as required.

Our Restaurant Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering and exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygiene and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service– an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
