Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is looking for Retail Customer Advisors to provide outstanding service, promote the Dobbies Club and help customers throughout the store. You will work on the shop floor, assist with stock handling and cash tasks, and support restaurant services where needed.

The role offers a fast-paced environment, team collaboration, and opportunities to develop product knowledge and skills across different store areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Able to work in a busy store and deliver excellent service.
• Punctual, well-presented with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Give excellent customer service across the store and assist with transactions.
• Drive sales by promoting the Dobbies Club membership and engaging with customers.
• Answer customer queries with product knowledge and support.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the store.
• Work on the shop floor and other areas such as stock, cash handling, deliveries, stock control and restaurant services.

Our Retail Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty and ensuring high department standards.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store


• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership


• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge


• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store


• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant services - an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
