Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Customer Advisor in Shepton Mallet to deliver a warm, welcoming customer experience across our restaurant and shopfloor. You will assist with daily service, promote our Club membership and support stock and till tasks as needed.

The role suits someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality, works well in a team, and enjoys learning new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within hospitality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, well-presented and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service across the store.
• Drive sales by promoting Dobbies Club membership.
• Assist customers with queries, product knowledge and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the store.
• Assist on shopfloor, stock, till work and restaurant service as required.

Our Restaurant Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering and exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygience and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service– an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
