Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland's Venues Collection is seeking a Food Service Manager for Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes. This hands-on leadership role delivers high standards of food and beverage service, develops a strong team and creates memorable guest experiences, while also supporting Duty Manager responsibilities.

You’ll lead day-to-day Restaurant & Bar operations, manage labour and costs, drive guest satisfaction and ensure safety and compliance across the venue, reporting to the Front of

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food and beverage, restaurant or bar operation.
• Strong people leadership and team development skills.
• Good commercial awareness, including revenue, stock and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Restaurant & Bar operation and deliver high service standards.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage labour scheduling and performance reviews.
• Drive guest satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
• Ensure licensing, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Support Duty Manager activities and cross-department communication.
