Antica in Bath is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing team and uphold our reputation for excellence. You will help expand the business and lead daily operations with focus on service quality and staff development.

The role offers a salary of £32,000–£35,000 per annum plus an annual bonus. Schedule includes a mix of shifts, with opportunities to drive guest experience and monitor performance across front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced level of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
• Good teamwork and communication with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily restaurant operations across front and back of house.
• Control costs and identify waste reduction measures.
• Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer complaints efficiently and accurately.
• Review product quality regularly.
• Organise staff scheduling and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback.
• Prepare reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
• Promote venues and events actively.
