Job summary

WPS is inviting a qualified Plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance team based at the Finsbury Park office, delivering reactive maintenance to residents under a social housing contract. You will carry out plumbing repairs and renewals, perform minor maintenance using multi-trade skills, and use a PDA to receive and update job details while coordinating with schedulers for follow-up work.

DBS checks are expected at offer stage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Plumbing experience in social housing or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and renewals.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks using multi-trade skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors on complex jobs.
• Use a PDA to receive and update job details.
• Communicate with schedulers when follow-up work is needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and clients.
