Job summary

WPS is looking for a qualified Plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance team, based at the Finsbury Park office. You will deliver reactive maintenance under a social housing contract, serving residents and clients in the local area.

Key tasks include carrying out repairs and renewals, multi-trade tasks, and collaboration with colleagues and contractors. A PDA is used to manage job details and DBS checks apply at offer stage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in plumbing in social housing or similar environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and renewals.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks using multi-trade skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors on complex jobs.
• Use a PDA to receive and update job details.
• Communicate with schedulers for follow-up work.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and clients.
