Making Space is seeking a Bank Support Worker for Silver Street Respite Service in Barnsley, S75 3NP. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks and support service users with learning disabilities and complex needs. Training is provided and opportunities to study qualifications are available.

The role offers flexible bank hours, DBS checks and safeguarding training as part of the process, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and equality in care.

Qualifications

• No prior industry experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for the role.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care, administer medication and assist with domestic tasks.
• Create a warm, caring environment and tailor support to each individual's needs, especially those with learning disabilities or complex needs.
