Making Space is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our respite care service in Barnsley, S75 3NP. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily routines, meals and activities, and support adults with learning disabilities and physical needs to feel safe and valued.

We offer permanent contracts for 21 or 35 hours per week, paying £13.12 per hour. Benefits include holiday entitlement, pension contributions, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in health and social care is essential.

Are you an experienced Support Worker who enjoys making a real difference in people's lives? Looking for a rewarding role where every day brings something different?

The Role

Making Space is looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team at Silver Street Respite Service in Barnsley.

Our service provides planned and emergency short-term respite care for adults with learning disabilities and physical health needs. You'll help people feel comfortable, supported and independent during their stay, making sure their individual needs and preferences are always respected.

With 35-hour and 21-hour permanent contracts available, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where your experience and kindness really matter.
