Job summary

The Somerset Respiratory service in Yeovil, part of the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, provides enhanced management for patients with unstable respiratory disease in the community. The post holder will work autonomously as a core member of Acute Respiratory teams at Yeovil District and Musgrove Park Hospitals, and with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Job description

The post holders will be skilled, autonomous practitioners working as a core member of the Somerset Respiratory service, Acute Respiratory teams (present at Yeovil District and Musgrove Park Hospitals) and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to patients. They will possess the skills, competence, expertise and clinical decision‑making abilities required to plan, co‑ordinate and carry out enhanced management for patients with unstable respiratory disease within the community setting. This is a 7 day week service.
