Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for an experienced Respiratory Physiotherapist within the Adult Therapies CSU. The role rotates across St James and Leeds General Infirmary in Critical Care, CF, General/Cardiac/Thoracic Surgery and Respiratory Medicine.

You will assess, manage and treat patients with complex needs while contributing to education, audit and service improvement. We value a flexible and proactive approach, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a physiotherapist is essential.
• Respiratory competence is essential.
• Completion of core and respiratory rotations required.
• Evidence of continued professional development required.
• Desirable: membership of a clinical interest group.
• Desirable: Clinical Educator’s course/experience with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, management and treatment for patients across multiple respiratory specialities.
• Deliver care as part of a supportive MDT and manage your own caseload.
• Contribute to education, audit, research and service review for clinical effectiveness.
• Work across seven days with weekend on-call frequency approximately 1 in 4.
