Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Respiratory Physiotherapy team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post rotates annually across specialist areas at St James University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, including Critical Care, Cystic Fibrosis, General and Cardiac surgery, Thoracic surgery and Respiratory Medicine.

You will assess, manage and treat diverse patients with specialist respiratory needs, part of a supportive MDT, with opportunities for staff education,

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist (Essential)
• Respiratory competent (Essential)
• Completion of core and respiratory rotations (Essential)
• Evidence of continued professional development (Essential)
• Member of a clinical interest group (Desirable)
• Evidence of Clinical Educator’s course/ experience with students (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Education and development of staff and students
• Audit, research and clinical effectiveness
• Service review and evaluation
• Organised and flexible with empowerment of others
• Assist in operational management and service improvement
• Work across seven days per week including weekend/ on-call duties
