We are currently looking for an experienced Respiratory Physiologist to provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Weston-Super-Mare, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Respiratory Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing and supporting the reporting of high-quality respiratory diagnostic tests.

Your main responsibilities as a Respiratory Physiologist:
  • Perform multiple respiratory examinations with high quality and precision
  • Record all data accurately according to policy
  • Interpret assessments as required
  • Support the patient pathway within respiratory care, ensuring patients understand procedures and reasonable adjustments are made
  • Maintain equipment quality control
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Provide reports as requested by your manager
  • Assist and participate in audits as needed
What we are looking for in a Respiratory Physiologist:
  • Experienced Respiratory Physiologist
  • BSc in Healthcare Science (Physiological Science) or equivalent
  • Experience or ability to train other team members
  • ARTP professional qualification
