Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead the OT service for respiratory and medical patients. You will work with the Medical Team Lead OT to deliver patient-centred care and influence service delivery across directorates.

You will provide expert clinical support, manage complex caseloads, advance evidence-based practice, and lead workforce development to build a competent OT team. A 7-day roster is required.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with respiratory care experience.
• Ability to provide assessment, treatment, advice and evaluation for complex cases.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and staff development.
• Willingness to participate in a 7-day roster and holiday cover.

Responsibilities

• To provide expert clinical support and advise, alongside the OT Team Leader, linking closely with multi-professional colleagues.
• To hold a clinical caseload, providing high-quality, person-centred management for complex acute and chronic patients.
• To develop a future-focused service, contributing to evidence-based practice and workforce development.
• To act as Clinical Specialist to support and facilitate the OT service with workforce development.
• To provide advanced assessment, treatment, advice, evaluation and clinical management for complex cases.
• Participation in a 7-day working roster and bank holiday cover.
