Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an HCPC‑registered Band 7 Occupational Therapist with a passion for respiratory care to lead and develop the OT service for respiratory and medical patients.

You will work closely with the Medical Team Lead OT to deliver excellent, patient-centred care, supervise staff and students, and support service growth within the directorate. Your role involves advanced assessment and treatment in an acute hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in OT recognised by College of OT.
• HCPC registered OT (UK).
• Evidence of post graduate training in the relevant clinical field.
• Experience supervising staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support and advise, alongside the OT Team Leader, linking closely with multi-professional colleagues.
• Hold a clinical caseload, providing high-quality person-centred clinical management for complex presentations.
• Develop service to be fit for today and the future, inputting into evidence-based practice and staff development.
• Act as Clinical Specialist to support and facilitate OT service development and workforce competence.
• Provide assessment, treatment, advice, evaluation and clinical management at advanced level for complex patients.
• Participate in a 7-day working roster and bank holiday cover.
