Job summary

Provide CIC is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker to join the Respiratory Team at Braintree Community Hospital. The role offers development toward an Associate Practitioner through training and supported progression in respiratory care.

You will gain experience across spirometry, diagnostic assessments, pulmonary rehabilitation classes, the oxygen service and the Virtual Respiratory Ward, with opportunities for ARTP certification.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous health care assistant/support worker experience.
• Essential: Basic Computer Skills.
• Desirable: Community experience.
• Desirable: Respiratory experience or knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support spirometry, diagnostic assessments and pulmonary rehabilitation activities.
• Assist with oxygen service, capillary blood gas testing and the Virtual Respiratory Ward.
• Work with the Respiratory team to deliver patient-centred care pathways.
