Job summary

Provide CIC is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker for the Respiratory Team at Braintree Community Hospital. The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with progression towards an Associate Practitioner role and ARTP spirometry certification.

You will support spirometry, diagnostic assessments, pulmonary rehabilitation, the oxygen service, capillary blood gas testing and the Virtual Respiratory Ward, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous health care assistant/support worker experience.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Support spirometry and diagnostic assessments.
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation classes.
• Support the oxygen service and capillary blood gas testing.
• Contribute to the Virtual Respiratory Ward.
• Training and progression towards ARTP spirometry certification.
