About The Role

As a Resourcing Advisor at Morrisons, your primary purpose is to drive the recruitment and selection process to secure top talent for our business.

You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their resourcing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and engage with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the hiring journey. With a focus on attracting diverse candidates who embody our values and culture, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining high performing teams that drive our business forward.

Through your expertise in resourcing, you will contribute to the achievement of our strategic objectives by identifying, attracting, and securing the best talent in the market.

This will be a 12-month fixed term contract.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Full ownership of end-to-end recruitment process, from role design/initial briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Managing candidate offer/benefits packages with support from internal employee relations, People, and Reward teams.
  • Building strong pipelines of candidates by utilising effective sourcing strategies such as LinkedIn, internal networks, and our ATS.
  • Delivering fully qualified shortlisted candidates according to the brief.
  • Influencing hiring managers to support our diversity aspirations.
  • Upskilling hiring managers on interview techniques and inclusive recruitment.
  • Developing SME understanding of your functional area, providing market and competitor insights to stakeholders to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Gathering hiring data for your functional area and translating it into meaningful insights for stakeholder presentations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and help build succession plans.

This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford, which features an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking, and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in internal or external recruitment and/or relevant functional experience.
  • Understanding of search and selection methodologies supporting proactive recruitment (e.g., LinkedIn & job boards).
  • Interest in talent mapping and market analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in using an ATS and relevant tools.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
  • Proficiency in project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and present meaningful insights engagingly to senior stakeholders.
