Job description

OCU are seeking a dedicated Resourcing Coordinator to join the team in Stockport. This role will provide essential coordination within the resourcing function, ensuring efficient planning and allocation of PAYE and contractor staff across IPE works, group works, and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource planning and allocation for PAYE and subcontractor labour
• Manage resourcing needs across IPE works, group projects, and framework contracts
• Support the wider team in forecasting labour demands based on upcoming work volumes
• Maintain and update resourcing trackers and scheduling systems
• Liaise with project teams and site managers to ensure accurate and timely staff deployment
• Communicate changes in work plans or labour requirements to relevant stakeholders
• Support mobilisation of new projects by coordinating initial workforce requirements
• Assist in gathering and inputting data into internal resourcing systems and reports
• Provide administrative support to the Resourcing Manager and department
• Attend weekly planning meetings to report on resourcing activity and address upcoming needs

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or resource coordination
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams and functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and planning tools
• Experience working with contractors and PAYE staff in a construction or utility environment is advantageous
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Understanding of project delivery within a multi-site or framework-based environment preferred
