Job summary

Midas Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Resourcer to join our IT recruitment team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on identifying, engaging and building relationships with high‑quality IT candidates across permanent and contract roles.

You will conduct initial screenings, develop a strong candidate pipeline and collaborate with Recruitment Consultants to fill current and future vacancies. This role offers hybrid working with a mix of office and home-based days, a salary of

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment and resourcing experience.
• Proactive outbound calling to engage candidates.
• Strong relationship-building with candidates at all levels.
• High attention to detail when reviewing CVs and records.
• Proficient with LinkedIn, job boards, databases and search tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive and target/KPI-driven.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• IT recruitment experience is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Source IT candidates across job boards, LinkedIn and internal databases.
• Proactively approach candidates for permanent and contract roles.
• Conduct initial telephone screening for experience and suitability.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across IT disciplines.
• Write and post engaging job adverts on relevant platforms.
• Manage applications and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Maintain contact with candidates throughout the process.
• Prepare CVs for client submission and keep CRM up to date.
• Coordinate interviews and gather salary, notice period and right-to-work details.
• Collect references and required compliance documents.
• Develop understanding of IT roles and skill sets to improve matching.
• Collaborate with Consultants to fill vacancies quickly.

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience within recruitment and resourcing.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively approaching potential candidates.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with candidates at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing CVs and updating candidate records.
• Confident using LinkedIn, job boards, databases and online search tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a recruitment team.
• Previous IT recruitment experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Source suitable IT candidates across job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases and other recruitment platforms.
• Proactively search for and approach candidates for permanent and contract IT vacancies.
• Conduct initial telephone screening to assess candidates experience, technical skills, availability and suitability.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates across a range of IT disciplines.
• Write and post engaging job adverts across relevant platforms.
• Manage candidate applications and respond to enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Format and prepare CVs for submission to clients.
• Update the recruitment CRM/database with accurate candidate information, notes and activity.
• Arrange interviews and support candidates with interview preparation.Obtain candidate availability, salary/rate expectations, notice periods and right-to-work information.
• Gather references and compliance documentation where required.
• Develop an understanding of different IT roles, technologies and skill sets to improve candidate matching.
• Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to understand vacancies and identify suitable candidates quickly.
• Build long-term relationships with IT professionals to support current and future vacancies.
• Keep up to date with the IT recruitment market, candidate availability and salary/rate trends.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, uncovering talent and building strong candidate networks while developing their knowledge and career within specialist IT recruitment. We offer working hours of 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5:30pm, a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 plus commission of up to £1,000 per month, hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home, 25 days holiday, and death in service.
