Job summary

Butlin's Minehead is seeking a People Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, championing our culture and guiding leaders through everyday people operations.

You will partner with resort leaders and specialists across HR to develop a proactive people plan, manage employee relations, and support recruitment, L&D, and payroll activities.

Due to the role, you will be based on the resort for the working week to stay accessible to the team and leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People/HR role or leadership role.
• Good ER and employment law knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience coaching leaders to take action.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Improve team engagement and culture.
• Proactively manage employee relations cases.
• Provide day-to-day HR queries and guidance to managers and staff.
• Coach leaders through performance, absence and ER matters.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms and Payroll & Reward to support People activity.
• Maintain business org charts and run weekly business partnering with HODs and managers.
• Lead exit interviews, analyse trends and drive action plans.
• Liaise with ER specialists/lawyers on complex cases as needed.
