Verde Resorts is seeking a Gym Instructor for Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club in York. The role involves delivering fitness classes, managing gym operations, and upselling memberships.

A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is required, and a driving licence is an advantage for travel to the resort. You will ensure the safety and cleanliness of the gym, coordinate staff rotas, and uphold high guest service standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the General Manager to upsell gym memberships and renewals.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the gym.
• Coordinate and deliver pre-planned fitness classes.
• Complete staff rotas to cover all classes.
• Engage the gym team to maximise member retention.
• Conduct gym equipment checks and report defects.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of gym, changing rooms, and guests.
• Check and order cleaning products and supplements.
