Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President, Resiliency Data Products - Data Engineer in Corporate Investment Bank Operational Resiliency.

You will design, build, and run data products and pipelines that improve technology resiliency and recovery risk, enabling trusted analytics and end-to-end lineage. In a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will partner with architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions, governance, and end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform engineering across the data lifecycle.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Hadoop/Spark and cloud environments.
• Ability to translate risk and control requirements into technical designs.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade data pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Develop resilient data products supporting lineage and trusted analytics.
• Evolve data models representing user flows, system dependencies, and risk signals.
• Translate business and control requirements into delivery plans.
• Partner across matrix organizations to deliver outcomes end to end.
• Improve data quality, metadata management, and governance controls.
• Enable data lineage across sources and outputs for explainability.
• Apply modern architecture patterns for scalable, near real-time data.
• Use SQL and non-relational databases to optimize performance.
• Embed engineering best practices like version control, testing, CI/CD.
• Provide progress updates and drive timely decisions.
