Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking a technically capable Asset Resilience Lead to drive the development and ongoing enhancement of resilience tools, strategies and frameworks. You will embed resilience across asset management processes, investment planning activities and regulatory commitments, reporting to the Asset Management Capability & Resilience Manager.

You will support our ISO 55001 accreditation journey, help improve asset management capability and maturity, and build resilience dashboards.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Practical understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Project management experience within complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of resilience tools and dashboards.
• Develop resilience assessment, scenario modelling and investment evaluation.
• Coordinate stakeholder workshops and data validation activities.
• Support the development and implementation of resilience strategies across the business.
• Ensure resilience outputs are embedded within business decisions.
• Provide guidance, training and support to users of resilience tools.
• Represent Affinity Water in industry and regulatory resilience groups.
• Monitor emerging resilience standards, regulations and best practice.
• Assess the impact of regulatory developments on business processes and strategies.
• Build relationships with regulators and technical specialists.
• Support delivery of the Asset Management Capability Improvement Roadmap.
• Contribute to the organisation's ISO 55001 accreditation journey.
• Help implement and maintain asset management assurance and maturity frameworks.
