Job summary

Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Young People Support Worker to support vulnerable 16-21 year olds in a supported living service in North/North West London. You will assess needs, develop person-centred care plans and safeguard welfare.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or Residential Childcare, or a relevant degree, plus a DBS update, 1 year UK residential experience, right to work in the UK and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• DBS check within the last 12 months.
• At least 1 year UK experience with young people in residential settings.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assess practical and emotional needs and develop person-centred care plans.
• Deliver services to residents while safeguarding their welfare.
• Work with other professionals to coordinate support.
• Maintain daily logs and data records.
• Provide life skills coaching to help residents live independently.
