Job summary

SJC Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Title Checker to join our Residential Property team. Based in Milton Keynes with remote options, the role focuses on reviewing titles, searches, and related documents to identify issues and prepare transactions for exchange and completion.

The ideal candidate has strong conveyancing experience, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of title defects, Land Registry procedures, and lender requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Residential Conveyancing.
• Strong ability to perform title checks and legal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review Freehold and Leasehold titles and Land Registry copies.
• Review searches and supporting documentation for issues.
• Identify title defects, covenants, easements, and boundary issues.
• Draft title-related enquiries and liaise with sellers' solicitors.
• Ensure transactions progress towards exchange and completion.
