Job summary

Our client, a premier Glasgow-based residential developer, seeks a Technical Manager or Assistant Technical Manager to oversee the technical lifecycle across construction and post-construction stages. You will own services, warranty sign-offs, and contractor design elements, while driving post-completion NHBC defect resolutions and asset adoptions.

Qualifications

• Proven technical experience within a residential developer, main contractor, or multi-disciplinary consultancy.
• Ability to absorb and apply complex engineering data and design information.
• Strong proficiency with project portals and digital management tools.
• Proactive on-site problem solving and coordination with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset adoptions, bonds, and statutory clearance processes.
• Coordinate material and design elements for building warrant applications.
• Lead design-to-installation coordination with multi-utility contractors to meet timelines.
• Manage NHBC sign-offs and post-completion defect resolutions.
• Supervise environmental/site works and obtain council sign-offs.
• Investigate legacy site defects through data review and on-site inspection.
• Produce site-specific technical specification documents with internal teams.
