Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a Residential Team Leader at Burleys Wood in Crawley to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality person-centred care for older people, including those living with dementia.

You will work 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night rota (20:00–08:00) with a pay rate of £15.36 per hour, contributing to a supportive, employee-owned environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.
