Role Overview: We are seeking a Team Leader to join our exceptional team based in Coventry. We need someone with the passion and determination to go the extra mile to create a home that everyone truly deserves. This includes creating a space brimming with activity, new experiences, and, most importantly, fun and laughter.

You will be fully supported in your new role with a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing development. This role is both rewarding and challenging, requiring strong commitment to our values and the ability to handle difficult situations with resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and adhere to the workplace values of Dignus Group (Resilience, Courage, Integrity, Respect, Confidence and Innovation).
  2. Provide supervisory control and direction in relation to staff duties and responsibilities.
  3. Take responsibility for planning shifts and ensuring the smooth running of the service.
  4. Contribute to team and staff meetings to facilitate and encourage good communication and staff development.
  5. Assist with recruitment and retention of staff including induction training for all new team members.
  6. Supervise new starters during their probationary period to ensure they receive the best in class support.
  7. Undertake supervisions, addressing performance issues and identifying training and development needs.
  8. Promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each Person we Support.
  9. Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with the People we Support.
  10. Manage behaviour positively and assertively by working in line with specified care and risk assessment management plans.
  11. A desire to learn; we provide training and apprenticeships for you to achieve your full potential.
  12. Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level.
  13. A good standard of written and verbal English.
  14. Proven experience of supporting adults or young people.
