Job summary

Caretech is seeking a Residential Support Worker in the Manchester region to help young people aged 8-18 with daily routines, school prep, meal times and engaging activities. You’ll contribute to a warm, home-like environment and build trusting relationships to support emotional well-being.

No prior experience? Training is provided, and DBS checks plus references are required. Roles include flexible shifts, a welcoming home environment, and funded training pathways for progression.

Responsibilities

• As a Residential Support Worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
