Confidential in West Norwood, South London, seeks two Residential Support Workers to care for young people with learning disabilities in a registered children's home. The role involves supporting daily living, education, and activities, while following care plans and safeguarding procedures in a structured environment.

Applicants should have experience with children or young people with LD, hold or be willing to obtain a Level 3 Diploma, and demonstrate flexibility for days, evenings, weekends

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities.
• NVQ / QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health and Social Care desirable; willing to register if not held, with full training provided.
• Good written English for accurate record keeping and communications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day care and support to young people with learning disabilities.
• Support daily living skills, personal care, education, activities and outings.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies.
