Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a Residential Support Worker for Brushwood House (Speke), a 60-bed nursing home, to deliver high-quality care to vulnerable adults in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role is part-time (33 hours) with a pro rata salary, across a 7-day rota including nights and bank holidays. Excellent benefits and a values-driven public service ethos are offered.

Responsibilities

• Meet the physical, social and emotional needs of service users as agreed in the care plan.
• Assist service users with tasks as agreed in support plans.
• Help individuals to maintain skills and use equipment to support care needs.
• Work with nursing and care staff as part of an integrated team.
• Provide care in accordance with person-centred support plans.
• Promote dignity, independence and respect for cultural, spiritual and religious needs.
• Maintain appropriate records and report significant changes to the senior support worker.
• Attend supervision sessions with the Line Manager.
