Job summary

Liverpool City Council in Liverpool is seeking two part-time Residential Workers for a children’s home, providing emotional support to young people and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Join a GOOD Ofsted-rated service with a team dedicated to safeguarding, education support and positive development for children and young people, with a pro rata schedule based on 17.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• As a Residential Worker you will be required to contribute to the day-to-day functioning of the home so that the children and young people’s needs are met, including support around education, social development, health and well-being
• You will be motivated around developing meaningful relationships with children and young people and provide them with the opportunities to have positive experiences
• As a Residential Worker you will be required to help children and young people to grow and develop
• You will be required to follow policies and procedures and work with families and partner agencies to safeguard and support children and young people
