Job description

EXCITING CARE OPPORTUNITY! – EXCELLENT RATES OF PAY AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PROGRESSION!

SV Care are recruiting Residential Support Workers for a brand-new Ofsted registered children’s residential provision within Colchester.

We’re looking to recruit passionate, dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in our society who’ve experienced neglect, abuse and trauma. As a result of these early life experiences, the young people that we will care for may, at times, display challenging behaviours. You will need to be resilient and dedicated enough to manage such behaviours while continuing to provide unconditional care, advice and support.

If this sounds like the career opportunity that you’ve been waiting for, apply today! For an informal chat and more information about this position, please submit your CV or send us a message directly.

Previous experience is preferred, but not essential, as extensive induction and training will be provided for all team members. A full, clean UK driving license is also preferred but not essential.

Requirements for DBS and reference checking will be undertaken and paid for by SV Care Services, in line with government regulation and safer recruitment best practices.

This role comes with the opportunity for excellent career progression as we are an expanding organisation and are looking to open an fourth service later this year. We value our team members and look to promote from within to maintain high standards and our common ethos. SV Care is ambitious for our young people, our services and for our colleagues. We want our Support Workers today to be our Registered Managers of the future.

We want to ensure that we are an equal opportunities employer, in practice, which is why we want to monitor our recruitment procedures. We have separated the equal opportunities monitoring form from the application form and would be grateful if you would complete it. It will not be part of the selection/interview process.

SAFER RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES MEAN THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORMS OR OFFER INTERVIEWS BASED UPON CV’S
