Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Residential Support Worker for Norton Court House in Stockton-on-Tees. You will build relationships with children and young people, support daily living activities and assist with mealtimes, while working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care.

The role involves day and night shifts, every other weekend, and a pro rata salary of £27,609.72 full-time equivalent.

Qualifications

• Clear ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Minimum 9 months experience in child care.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care.
• UK residency of at least 2 years 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with children and young people.
• Establish methods of communication with children and young people; reduce barriers.
• Assist with mealtimes and daily living activities as needed.
• Accurately report and record work activities.
