Salary: From £25,552 per annum PLUS £3000 - £6000 pa for sleep-ins. (£62.64 per sleep-in)
Location: Offerton, NR Stockport

Shift patterns - Full time or part time working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)
Full UK Driving Licence Is Required.
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for young people who have sometimes complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.
The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.
What do you need?
- We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and emotionally resilient.
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
- Experience and qualifications in care or transferable skills such as police, education, security or working with vulnerable people.
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
As a Therapeutic Support Worker You Will

- Act as a positive role model to to give encouragement and praise.
- Inspire our young people on a daily basis.
- Provide emotional support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
- Build friendships and trusting relationships

- Empower them to make decisions about themselves
