Job summary

SWAAY is seeking a Residential Support Worker for a children’s home in Bracknell. The role is full-time with shifts including 3pm–11pm and 10am–11pm, with a 6-week rolling rota and sleep-ins. Earn £27,600–£29,000 per year, with full training provided and opportunities for career progression.

We welcome career changers and provide NVQ Level 3/4 training, supervision and professional development to help you support traumatised young people aged 11–18 to achieve their aspirations.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 desirable.
  • Fully funded training and support to achieve the qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide stability and act as a positive role model for young people.
  • Maintain clear and consistent boundaries to help young people feel safe and secure.
  • Teach practical life skills such as cooking, budgeting and preparing for independence.

What you'll do as a Residential Support Worker:

You will work within a team and receive regular training, guidance and supervision.An NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare is desirable – but if you don't yet hold this qualification, we will fully fund and support you to achieve it
