Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Children’s Residential services in Runcorn. The role involves providing emotional, physical and social support to young people, accompanying them to appointments and activities, and assisting with daily routines while maintaining a safe, nurturing home environment.

The role offers full-time hours (39 per week) with weekend shifts and sleep-ins, along with a comprehensive induction, career development opportunities, and a range of employee

Qualifications

• Support children and young people with emotional, physical and social needs.
• Possess or be willing to obtain qualifications and career development opportunities provided by Keys Group.
• Willingness to complete enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
• Ability to work as part of a team to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with their emotional, physical and social needs.
• Accompany them to appointments, school and activities.
• Deliver personal care and assist with daily routines.
• Support with household tasks and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete accurate documentation and reports.
• Promote wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
• Annual leave is 5.6 weeks including 8 public holidays; DBS check paid by Keys Group.
