Job summary

Priory Group is recruiting a Support Worker for Kirklea in Kilmarnock. The role involves helping residents with daily living, following individual care plans, and working within a compassionate team to promote wellbeing.

Part of a 38.5 hour full-time or 22 hour part-time pattern; shift pattern includes daywork from 8am to 8pm. Training is provided and personal development pathways are available within Priory Group.

Qualifications

• Caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in care or support work is desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a compassionate team committed to residents' wellbeing.
• Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of care plans.
• Undertake routine tasks to support residents’ dignity and treatment.
• Complete daily administration including notes and care plans updates.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to safety, confidentiality, and policy adherence.
• Undertake keyworking responsibilities and support resident goals.
• Be flexible and proactive in promoting resident involvement.
