Job summary

Priory Hillside, situated just outside Burnley, seeks a Support Worker to join the Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers team. The role is full-time (42 hours) with 14- and 7-hour shifts on a 4-week rolling rota.

Due to residents' needs, only female applicants are considered for this position. The service supports three residents aged 17+, on the autistic spectrum or with learning disabilities, in a peaceful rural setting.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Experience in a similar care environment is required.
• Good communication skills to support residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Update care plans, charts and daily notes as directed.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Provide guidance to junior staff undertaking similar duties.
