Job summary

Randstad Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Children’s Support Worker team in the UK. You will provide care and support to vulnerable children and young people, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and well-being.

Successful applicants will have a full UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, at least 6 months of paid childcare experience, and an enhanced DBS. Ongoing training is provided to support your development.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 6 months paid childcare experience in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Experience working with children & young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour.
  • Ongoing development and training provided.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to vulnerable children & young people.
  • Handle emotional and behavioural difficulties with empathy and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children & young people under your care.
