Job summary

A Support Worker role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Reading focuses on delivering therapeutic care to up to three children at a large, nurturing home. You will work within the PACE framework to support positive outcomes and provide leadership to a team of fellow Support Workers.

The role requires experience in children's residential care, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to safeguarding. A full UK driving licence is preferred and DBS checks will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, therapeutic care to children in line with the PACE model.
• Lead shifts, supervising and mentoring a team of Support Workers.
• Support the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, helping them achieve their potential.
• Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and day-to-day management of the home.
• Ensure the home meets regulatory standards and follows safeguarding procedures.
