Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum (dependent on experience and qualification) plus an opportunity to earn an additional £2,400 per annum based on 4 sleep-ins per month
Location: Newport (local transport links 5 minutes away including train station, bus routes and M4 motorway)
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full-time 37 hours per week

About the Service
At Ty Ash, this is more than just a job; it's a chance to be part of something special from the very beginning.
Our new home provides long-term residential placements for up to four children and young people aged 8-18 years old. It is grounded in DDP (Dyadic Developmental Practice) and relational approaches that prioritise emotional safety, trust and connection.

Our dedicated team specializes in supporting those with neurodiversity and autism spectrum disorder, as well as being committed to trauma-informed care.
Our care model is evidence-informed and outcomes-focused, placing children and young people at the heart of everything we do.
Our philosophy is to support children through a range of needs, including early childhood trauma, attachment disorders, and dysregulated behaviours.
About the role
Qualified or currently working towards a level 3 in Health and Social Care, within this Residential Support Worker role, you'll lead a team of support workers on shift, ensuring high standards of care and personalised support for the children and young people we support.
Their proactive approach to risk management, safeguards our young people's wellbeing allowing them to guide a team to deliver the highest quality of care.
With a commitment to continuous improvement, they'll ensure the wellbeing of our children and young people is prioritised by delivering personalised care, guidance and advocacy.
This will include supporting in the absence of the Registered Manager or Team Leader, supervisions of staff, case managing and assisting in the development of the service.
