Job summary

Pharmacyupdate is seeking a caring Residential Support Worker to assist adults with severe and enduring mental health needs in a residential setting. You will help service users develop skills, confidence and independence while safeguarding their safety and wellbeing.

The role is temporary and focuses on supporting daily living activities, promoting community participation, monitoring mental health and reporting changes.

Qualifications

• Experience helping people with mental health needs is desirable.
• A caring, patient and understanding approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to recognise changes in behaviour, mental state and wellbeing.

• Carry out general housekeeping duties when required, including covering for the housekeeper.
