Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a friendly and reliable Support Worker for our residential service in Oakley. The role supports adults with learning disabilities to enjoy daily activities, outings, and community life, with a focus on wellbeing and quality of life.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, including the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Job description

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our established team in the quiet and scenic village of Oakley. Our residential service supports individuals with learning disabilities and other needs to enjoy an excellent quality of life.

Our service houses a range of active and sociable individuals, who enjoy spending quality time with our staff at the service, and being out in the community. Examples of activities include shopping, listening to music, pampering sessions, cooking & baking, movie nights, arts and crafts, visiting local cafes, and going out for meals. Our service users also love spending time in nature; the service has a large garden with lots of visiting wildlife, and there are plenty of countryside walks nearby.

Our service is located close to the A6, and has free onsite parking; a full UK driving licence is essential.

We provide all of your training as you begin your new career in care, including the opportunity to work towards earning your QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. All employees have access to our training system where, through a combination of in person and e-learning courses, you can learn the skills required to develop in your role and progress toward senior roles.
