Aspris is seeking a Residential Support Worker to support children and young people with autism and related conditions at Linden House. You will help plan activities, manage daily living tasks, and promote independence in a nurturing environment.
We offer CPD and development opportunities, with a clear pathway to further qualifications and degree-level study as part of your growth within Aspris.
Linden House is a 5 bed childrens home that provides care and support to children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions such as ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome. Here, daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.
Due to the nature of this role, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
At Aspris, we want every young person to feel understood, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why our homes are shaped around the needs of each child - this ensures that all of our young people get the support that’s shaped around their strengths, challenges, and goals.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be at the centre of the fun! Taking young people to see their friends, trips to the cinema, partaking in community events such as fundraisers and galas, teaching the young people to cook, encouraging them to be independent and many other brand new opportunities that they may never have had the chance to do previously. This role allows you to really make a difference to the lives of those under our care and to build strong relationships with the young people and staff alike.
At Aspris, learning never stops - and that’s something we truly value. As a growing organisation, we rely on accurate, detailed data, which can include sensitive information such as incident reports and disclosures from young people. High attention to detail is essential to the role.
To support you, we offer continuous CPD and development opportunities, helping you grow and become the best version of yourself.
We believe every child and young person has potential.
We work in partnership with parents and guardians to unlock this potential through specialist care, support and education. Tailoring our care and education provisions to meet the diverse needs of children and young people ensuring that they always receive the right support, at the right time, and in the right setting. Even when the journey seems hard, we use courage, resilience, kindness and dedication.
Our team of experts work together to deliver safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. When a young person’s confidence grows, they become limitless. This is the heartbeat of our work - every day, every hour and every minute.
That is the Aspris difference.
