Job summary

Blue Diamond Recruitment is recruiting an ambitious and dynamic Assistant Site Manager to support day to day operations of residential projects based in Worcestershire. You will work closely with the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role focuses on health and safety compliance, programme delivery, and building positive relationships with stakeholders on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Trainee or Assistant Site Manager in residential development.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.
• Positive attitude, good communication, team player.
• Good organisation, initiative, ability to manage tasks on a busy site.
• Clear communication and practical problem solving.
• Confidence using basic IT and site systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the senior site team with day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects progress to programme and deadlines.
• Assist with site inspections and safety checks.
• Maintain safe working environment and quality records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Help monitor schedules, productivity and site performance.
• Assist with procurement and resource planning.
