Job summary

Watsham Consulting in Lane End near High Wycombe is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee the daily operation of a high-end residential site. You will report to the Construction Director and work closely with the Head of Commercial who has detailed knowledge of the projects, subcontractors and current works.

The role offers a clear route to becoming a Site Manager with a starting point as Assistant Site Manager and opportunities for a long-term career within the business.

Responsibilities

• Learning the drawings, programme and current position of the project
• Getting to know the subcontractors and direct labour
• Monitoring progress and quality
• Keeping the site organised, tidy and safe
• Following up subcontractors and actions; Help with ordering and procurement
• Keeping records of progress, issues and decisions
• Completing the daily site diary, initially with support
• Taking on specific tasks and responsibilities delegated by the Construction Director

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a growing business with a clear route to becoming full Site Manager.

Based in Lane End near High Wycombe, the Assistant Site Manager will oversee the daily operation of a high-end residential site. Reporting to the Construction Director, the Assistant Site Manager will also work closely with the Head of Commercial who provides an experienced day-to-day presence on site and has detailed knowledge of the projects, subcontractors and current works.

Up to £50,000 per annum
