Job summary

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for residential developments near Peterborough. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure works meet drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include managing schedules, maintaining health & safety on site, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. A strong Housing/building process knowledge and SMSTS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of the housebuilding process from groundworks through to completion.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
• The ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• SMSTS qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily site operations from start to completion.

Location: Peterborough

We're currently recruiting for an experienced site Manager to join an established residential construction business, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of domestic new-build projects close to Peterborough

This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Site Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality homes, maintaining strong health & safety standards and keeping projects on programme.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of residential developments, working closely with subcontractors, trades, suppliers and the wider project team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily site operations from start to completion
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Managing programme and build schedules
