Job summary

CPC Project Services in the North West is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Project Surveyor to join our Residential team in Liverpool/Manchester. You’ll be hands-on from day one, mentored by senior consultants, working on complex residential schemes and developing towards Senior QS and Employer's Agent status.

You'll contribute to cost and commercial management on live projects, building client relationships and supporting delivery to time and budget across 100–150 unit schemes and related

Qualifications

• MRICS chartership or in-progress
• Experience in housing/residential projects (affordable housing, Build-to-Rent, etc.)
• Exposure to Employers' Agent is welcomed
• Strong commercial and client-facing development focus
• Consultancy background preferred but open to client-side or main contractor QS with housing experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with early site due diligence and viability assessments
• Contribute to technical detail reviews and risk registers
• Support pre- and post-contract programme production and milestones
• Produce cost estimates and cost plans
• Assist with tender/procurement strategy and implementation
• Assist with contract selection and negotiation
• Handle contract administration and development agreements
• Build and manage client relationships with senior colleagues
• Support delivery to keep schemes on time and within budget
• Progress toward Senior QS/Employer's Agent status through mentoring
